Land Rover Bringing An Electric Range_e To Geneva

Electric Range_e is a new electric plug in development vehicle showcasing diesel hybrid plug-in technology capable of 89 g/km CO2. Range_e is based on a Range Rover Sport and features a 3.0 litre TDV6 diesel coupled with a plug-in parallel diesel hybrid system. In purely EV mode the prototype has a range of 20 miles, and a top speed of around 120mph.

In addition to Range_e, Land Rover will also show the Range Rover Evoque( Coupe and 5-Door), Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition and the 2011 Discovery 4 ‘Landmark’ Limited Editions at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
