Bowler has been building extreme rally cars based on Land Rover technology since mid-1980s. Their first road-going model is called EXR-S and is based on the Range Rover Sport, featuring a hydroformed chassis, a composite body and a supercharged 550bhp 5.0-litre V8 engine. Priced from £155,000 plus local taxes, this new high-performance SUV will reach 0-60mph in just 4.2 seconds, while the top speed is 155 mph.
It is an impressive vehicle and Chris Harris recently managed to drive the EXR-S development car calling it the “the most niche vehicles of all niche vehicles..”.
The EXR-S will debut this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
