Lamborghini unveils new lightweight Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante

New lightweight Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante sheds 65 kg (143 lbs) over the standard Spyder thanks to exterior and interior components made of carbon fibre. The open top supercar now weighs 1.485 kilograms (3.274 lbs).

The 5.2-litre V10 unit produces 562bhp, taking the Spyder Performante from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.9 seconds all the way to a top speed of 201 mph.

Unbelievable car! Just look at all that carbon fibre, alcantara interior, new 19-inch wheels wrapped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa sports tires and those huge tailpipes…. We want one!
