Lamborghini Aventador LP1200-4R concept by DMC packs up to 1,500 hp, can be yours for $2.5M

Last month DMC released details about their Lamborghini Aventador LP988 Edizione GT with an impressive 988 horsepower.

In case all that power is not enough, then DMC has envisioned another heavily modified Lamborghini Aventador dubbed LP1200-4R concept. Currently available only in the virtual world, it can be brought into real life if someone is willing to pay $2.5 million (roughly £1.5 million).

We have a feeling guys in the oil rich Middle East already have set their eyes on this to stand out from Bugatti driving friends.

The LP1200-4R with twin-turbos for the V12 engine increases output from the stock 700 horsepower to 1,200 horsepower and with the right pressure settings and fuel it could deliver up to 1,500 horsepower!

DMC also points out, “if you really want to go all the way I’m sure a power output of 2,000 horsepower can be achieved.” In this case the displacement would be increased from 6.5 to 7.7 litres.

Besides a more powerful engine, the LP1200-4R also features new body panels, beefier air intakes, more air vents, adjustable fin air brake system, making the Aventador even more aggressive.

Weighing around 1,575kg, the LP1200-4R is estimated to go from 0-62mph in just 2.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 233mph.
