What is this boxy thing testing in heavy snow? It’s a Kia prototype, that most likely is called the Tam. The rear doors on the prototype are different – on the left side it has conventional front-hinged door and on the right is a sliding door.
It is hard to figure out how big this thing is, as there is nothing to compare it with – there’s snow everywhere around it. Design wise it does look very similar to Nissan Cube, Scion xB and Honda Element. Who knows, it also could be the production version of the KV7 Concept, that was shown in Detroit last month.
This mystery box on four wheels raises many questions, that we hope to answer soon. Stay tuned for more details!
Update! Kia told us that this new model will only be available in Korea.
