Kia SPORTSPACE concept previews future Optima, debuts next month in Geneva

Kia has unveiled the SPORTSPACE concept which will be shown next month at the Geneva Motor Show.

The SPORTSPACE previews the next generation Optima, which currently is only offered as a saloon, but very likely the next generation model would be offered for the first time in the more practical estate body style.

Designed in Frankfurt, the SPORTSPACE concept is a “stylish and exciting transportation for four.”

The concept looks very attractive and sleek with its low roofline, bulging bonnet, vented front and rear fenders, automatically retractable door handles, slender side mirrors, along with unique headlights and dual chrome exhaust tips at the rear.

The interior reveals a big touchscreen display, one-piece seats wrapped in leather, massive centre console and panoramic sunroof.

The car clearly looks larger than the current model when you look at the length of the doors and rear overhang.

The production model is likely toned down a bit, but we do hope not too much as this is one attractive estate car.
