Kia previews next generation Picanto ahead of Geneva debut

Kia has released two sketches of the next generation Picanto city car, that will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.

The new Picanto has been styled by Kia’s European design team based in Frankfurt, Germany, under the direction of Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer, and will be available in three- and five-door configurations.

Kia did not reveal any details on what will be powering the new Picanto, but very likely we will have a choise of a 1.2-litre four-cylinder and a 1.0-litre three-cylinder.

Sales of the new Picanto will start right after the Geneva Motor Show.
