Kia GT4 Stinger concept was a pleasant surprise at this year’s Detroit Auto Show. The Korean automaker surprised everyone and we clearly would love to see a production model one day.
The rear-wheel drive 2+2 sports coupe concept uses a 311bhp 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged direct-injected petrol T-GDI engine linked to six-speed close-ratio manual transmission.
Exterior highlights include a long bonnet, low vertical headlights with LEDs, bulging wheel arches, LED taillights, dual exhaust tips glass hatch, see-through A-pillars and 20-inch alloys.
What if Kia takes it into production and also introduces a convertible version?
A talented X-Tomi Design from Hungary has now created a convertible version that looks just as good or even better than the coupe.
We like it and the GT4 coupe and convertible both clearly would give a big boost to Kia’s brand image and enlarge its customer base.
