Jaguar XJR debuts at the New York Auto Show

Jaguar has unveiled the hot XJR luxury high performance saloon at the New York Auto Show.

Under the bonnet is a 542bhp supercharged 5.0 V8 with 680Nm of peak torque linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel mounted shift paddles, sending power to rear wheels. 0-60mph comes in 4.4 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 174mph.

There are ten exterior colours available for the XJR: Polaris White; Ebony; Ultimate Black; Stratus Grey; Lunar Grey; Rhodium Silver; Cashmere; Caviar; Carnelian Red; and Black Amethyst.

The XJR is available to order now with prices starting from £92,335.
