Jaguar XJ Supersport 'Ring Taxi crashes on the Nürburgring [videos]

Little over a year ago Jaguar unveiled their XJ Nürburgring taxi, based on the all-aluminium long wheelbase XJ Supersport with Sport and Speed Pack options.

Powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 510 hp, the hot Jag has a top speed of 174mph and comes with four race seats, each equipped with four-point harnesses, and a full bespoke roll cage to keep everyone safe.

This past weekend during Touristenfahrten, the Jaguar XJ Supersport Ring Taxi lost control and crashed against guard rail. The road was not wet and we are having hard time understanding what really happened. Someone in the comments mentioned the right wheel blocked causing the crash.

The drivers side got hit, but not too bad.
