Jaguar F-Type vs. Porsche 911 Cabriolet on the track with Tiff Needell

Porsche 911 is the car that different automakers are benchmarking their new models against.

The all-new Jaguar F-Type is one of these cars. In the video below Tiff Needell pits the mid-spec F-Type V6 against the entry level Porsche 911 Cabriolet.

The numbers?

Porsche 911 Cabriolet is powered by a 350bhp 3.4-litre flat six linked to a seven-speed manual. Overall weight is 1450kg. The Jaguar F-Type V6 is powered by a 380bhp 3.0-litre supercharged V6 linked to an eight-speed automatic with paddle shifter and weighs 1597kg.
