Jaguar F-Type Coupe patent photos hit the web

The Jaguar F-Type coupe was previewed by the C-X16 concept and looking at these patent photos we can see that the production version will look quite similar.

The front looks almost identical to the F-Type Roadster, which is already on sale, but moving to the rear and side we can see a sloping roofline with a that beautifully flows into the rear.

Engine options will carry over from the roadster, meaning the range will start with a 335bhp supercharged 3.0-litre V6, followed by the same engine producing 375bhp in the S trim and finally top of the range model will use the 488bhp supercharged 5.0-litre V8.

A new turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with around 240bhp is also rumoured.
