Italian Sports Car Legend ERMINI Re-launches With a New Supercar

Fifty years after closing its doors for business, the historic Ermini brand from Italy is reborn.

The re-launch car will be developed by a partnership between Ermini and Osella, who will be supplying the chassis.

Details at this point are very limited, but this future supercar will be called either 686 or Seiottosei and will feature parts that are strictly race-car origin like sequential gearbox, the brakes, or the shock absorbers. Of course carbon fibre will be used extensively.

“With this car, lovers of those uncompromising vintage sports cars with their distinctive
dynamism, long since replaced by modern supercars, will finally be able to enjoy themselves…”: these were the words of Chairman of Ermini Automobili Italia, Eugenio Ercoli.

Ermini will launch their new modern day supercar in late 2013.
