Infiniti QX30 concept previews a new premium compact crossover

Infiniti QX30 Concept is a design vision that will inspire a new premium compact crossover, scheduled for market launch in 2016.

The QX30 Concept is Infiniti’s bold step into the global premium compact segment, which is expected to continue growing on the coming year.

It is a a sleek and elegant looking crossover, featuring sleek lines of the coupe and a body that looks wider and thicker.

Other visual highlights include satin chrome front bumper with big side openings, hardy kick plates under the doors, the tough-looking but sculpted skid plate in the rear, glass roof and roof racks extending toward the centre line.

Inside all four seats have been streamlined for a suspended look, evoking a feeling of honed athleticism.

While technology details are limited, Infiniti points out the QX30 Concept gives a glimpse into the level of technology available and features not typically found in compact cars. For example, Infiniti InTouch™ keeps the driver connected to his digital world when on the move.

The more toned production version is likely to debut later this year or in early 2016.
