Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept previewed ahead of Detroit debut

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge is a high-performance design concept based on the Q50 premium sports saloon, with aerodynamic design inspired from the technical collaboration between Infiniti and four-time Formula One World Champions Infiniti Red Bull Racing.

The Q50 Eau Rouge features redesigned body parts that are more aerodynamic and made from carbon fibre.

Compared to the standard car, the concept is lower and wider with only the roof and door profiles remaining unchanged. As you can see the roof is made of carbon fibre, as well as front splitter, door mirror casings and side sill skirts.

The first image does not reveal the rear, but there is also a new rear diffuser, dual-exit exhaust tips and a large integrated rear spoiler.

All this rides on 21-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels.

In short the concept represents design vision for new high-performance products that are expected to arrive in couple of years.
