2015 Hyundai ix25 compact SUV/Crossover spied cold weather testing

Hyundai ix25 has been caught for the first time, cold weather testing in Scandinavia ahead of its public debut in April at the Beijing Motor Show.

The new compact crossover shares its platform with the net-generation i20 and engine range is expected to be very similar to the next i20, so some of the engines we can expect it to have include a 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel.

With a flat roofline and heavy camouflage it looks quite bulky and similar to Kia Soul.

The new model will sit below the ix35 and is Hyundai’s answer to the expanding compact crossover market segment, going against the likes of Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008, Kia Soul, Ford EcoSport and Skoda Yeti.
