Hyundai has released new pictures and more details about the HND-9 Concept, which debuted yesterday at the Seoul Motor Show, previewing company’s future design direction and the next-generation Genesis Coupe.
“HND-9 will give customers a glimpse of Hyundai’s future luxury sports coupe models,” said Suk-Geun Oh, head of Hyundai’s Design Center in Namyang, Korea. “Representing an evolution of Hyundai’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ design philosophy, the rear-wheel drive sports coupe concept balances high performance with a sophisticated image.”
The HND-9 is features a long bonnet and stretched 2,860mm wheelbase, while the overall length is 4,695mm, width 1,890mm and height is 1,340mm.
The Concept car is equipped with 365bhp 3.3-litre turbo GDi engine and 8-speed automatic transmission.
The HND-9 comes with butterfly doors, sculptural rear combination lamps, dual tailpipes on both sides and rides on 22-inch alloy wheels.
The interior reveals seats made of luxurious mesh fabric and aeroplane inspired cockpit with driver-oriented and high-tech interface.
