Honda has unveiled an Urban SUV Concept at the Detroit Auto Show. The Urban SUV Concept is based on the next-generation Jazz and previews a new small crossover that will go against the likes of Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008, and Renault Captur when it goes on sale in 2014.

The Urban SUV is 4300mm long (228mm shorter than the CR-V) and will debut a telematics system for Honda. Power will come from new Earth Dreams engines.

The next-generation Jazz is expected to debut before this new crossover sometimes this year. A saloon version is also planned.
