Honda S660 concept debuts in Tokyo, production model coming in 2015

Honda has unveiled the S660 concept at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, previewing a production model for the domestic market that will go on sale in 2015.

The S660 is a compact roadster designed for the Japanese kei-car market, taking styling cues from EV-STER concept, which was shown two years ago at the same show.

Power comes from a small 64bhp 3-cylinder 660cc turbo engine linked to a seven-speed CVT. The S660 also features fully retractable roof and currently Honda plans to sell it exclusively in Japan.

There are rumours that it could be sold also in other markets with a 100bhp turbocharged 1.0-litre engine. We’ll see soon.
