Gumpert TornanteGumpert has released the first sketch and more details about the Tornante, that will offer more elegance, room and comfort than the track oriented Gumpert Apollo.

The Tornante is designed by Milan based Touring Superleggera and will be shown to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in early March.

As the Apollo, the Tornante will use the 700bhp 4.2 litre bi-turbo V8 coupled with a TT40e gearbox with new set of paddle shifts in standard.

The Tornante is due to be released in 2012 and alongside the standard petrol version, an alternative powered version is also planned, which either means a hybrid or an all electric model…
