Gumpert Tornante Coming To Geneva Motor Show
Gumpert is expanding its model line-up soon with the introduction of Tornante, that will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The Tornante is designed by Touring Superleggera, and is a 2-seater Fast Tourer based on a new central engine chassis and V8-powered driveline. According to Gumpert, the Tornante will add more space, elegance and comfort to their typical sheer performance attitude, when compared to the Apollo.
The Tornante features the original Superleggera construction principle: composite body panels on a space frame with carbon fibre monocoque.
In the Apollo, Gumpert uses a 4.2-litre biturbo V8 with 641bhp and 627 lb-ft of torque. No word yet, will the same engine also carry over the the Tornante. Stay tuned for more details!
