Ginetta releases first details about the new G55

Yesterday Ginetta unveiled the new G55, that will compete in the Michelin sponsored Ginetta GT Supercup together with the G50.

New Ginetta G55 is powered by a 370bhp 3.7 litre Ford-sourced engine mated to a Hewland gearbox and fitted with cool air induction kit, up-rated brakes, new exhaust system and new bodywork with improved aerodynamics.

Race teams can buy the new G55 for £75,000 or upgrade their current G50 to G55 for £25,000.

Ginetta will unveil the new G55 at the Autosport International in Birmingham on January 13th. For more details about the G55, G50 and the Ginetta GT Supercup see the press release below.
