Filmmaker Luke Aker(Ikonik Productions) wanted to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE and realized a standard Craigslist ad is probably not enough and created an epic parody of the standard car commercial to go with it.
His Maxima was clearly not in best shape as there is a strap to keep the front bumper falling apart and the rest of the car is pretty beat.
The funny parody starts with Luke yelling “Quiet on set!” and goes on to say ..”It not only brings more admiring stares than any other car I have driven, it also has seat belts, engine, automatic transmission .. wheels and tyres!”
It also gets you from point A to point B most of the time…
The best part is that Nissan USA saw it and decided to buy the car.
Hey @IkonikFilms: SOLD! Had us at "land-yacht" & this hilarious '96 Maxima ad: http://t.co/0XpfoBtGQE – We want to make you an offer. DM us!
