Fiat unveils three 500-inspired personal watercrafts

Fiat has unveiled three specially constructed Fiat 500 models built on top of high-powered personal watercraft during the 2013 Vans U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California.

The models are based on the 500 (orange), 500 Cabrio (pearl white) and a 500 Abarth (red). Fiat says they have also built a version of the bigger Fiat 500L that they will unveil soon.

No specs were released, just that they are built on top of high-powered watercraft.

Surely a cool idea to promote the Fiat 500 in the States, though not very original as MINI did a similar stunt back in May at the 2013 Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia where a red MINI Cooper convertible drove on the water along the Schuylkill River during the famous annual festival of university and college rowing.
