Fiat unveils surf-inspired 500L Vans concept for 2014 Vans US Open of Surfing

This past weekend, Fiat has unveiled a surfing and skate world inspired 500L Vans concept at the Vans US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California.

The 500L Vans concept features a three-tone exterior, new distinctive front grille housing four rings of LED daytime running lights, the roof has VANS’ checkerboard pattern and a rack holding two surfboards and extra equipment.

The interior shows a dashboard with different VANS stickers from over the years and canvas seats, just like VANS shoes. The storage bins and pedals are covered in waffle sole tread pattern.

The engine bay remains stock, boasting a standard 160bhp, 1.4-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged MultiAir petrol linked to a 6-speed manual transmission.
