Fiat 500 AWD Prototype Spotted Testing In Sweden

Fiat is expanding the 500 range in the near future with at least two more versions. The Wagon called Giardinera and also an all-wheel drive model that was spotted testing in snow earlier today in Sweden.

The Fiat 500 AWD will most likely share its platform and technology with the Panda 4×4. According to the photographer, the prototype was easy to spot because of higher body, different exhaust system and obviously better traction on the snow because of the all-wheel-drive configuration.

The Fiat 500 AWD is expected to go on sale in 2012 when the facelift model comes out.
