Ferrari M458-T (458 Italia facelift) to debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with a twin-turbo V8

Earlier this year Ferrari unveiled the new front-engined California with a 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 engine producing 553bhp and 557 lb-ft of torque.

Looks like turbocharging is also part of the future for the 458 Italia facelift. According to Carmagazine, Ferrari will introduce the 458 Italia facelift next March at the Geneva Motor Show.

The facelifted model will reportedly use the “M458-T” moniker, replacing the naturally-aspirated 562bhp V8 engine with a new twin-turbo V8 producing around 670bhp.

The current 458 Italia needs 3.6 seconds to hit 0-62mph, before topping out at 196mph. Around 100 extra horses are sure to improve both numbers.

In addition to a new engine, the facelifted model is expected to get new bumpers, new LED headlights and taillights.

Interior changes are likely to include new materials and also Harman Kardon infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support.
