Ferrari 458 Spider & California 30 To Make UK Debut At Goodwood Festival Of Speed

Ferrari 458 Spider will make its uk debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed end of this month alongside the new lighter and more powerful Ferrari California 30. Also on display will be a V12 four-seater Ferrari FF.

The 458 Spider features a fully retractable aluminium hard-top roof, a world first for a sports car with this layout. Powered by a mid-rear mounted 4.5-litre V8 with 562bhp and 398lb ft torque, the 458 Spider accelerates from 0-62mph in under 3.4sec to a maximum speed of 199mph.

The updated Ferrari California gets its power from front-mid mounted 4.3-litre V8 that delivers now 483bhp (extra 30bhp compared). California’s 0-62mph time is now 3.8sec ( 0.1sec quicker than the previous version).

The weight has been reduced also by 30kg, thanks to cutting-edge aluminium fabrication techniques and construction technologies.

An optional Handling Speciale package has also been developed for the Ferrari California which encompasses modifications to the suspension set-up that minimise body roll and make the car even more responsive to driver inputs.
