The Donto P1 is designed by Lucas Lopez and has been revealed in production form at the Buenos Aires Motor Show. The Donto P1 follows a similar formula as the extreme open-top KTM X-Bow and Ariel Atom.
The P1 weighs just 630kg and is powered by an Audi sourced 300bhp 2.0-litre FSI engine. Performance specs were not revealed, but with a weight of just 630kg and 300bhp the performance is supercar like for sure.
The P1 has a stainless steel chassis homologated by FIA and the body is a combination of carbon fibre, Kevlar and fiber reinforced polymer. There is also a removable steering wheel and a small plexiglas windscreen.
The Donto P1 measures 3850mm in length, 1050mm in height and 1920mm in width, and has a 2500mm wheelbase. It rides on 18-inch alloys fitted with Pirelli tyres.
Production has not been confirmed yet, but with enough demand it will go into limited production with prices expected to start from around £45,000.
