Epic One Mile Drag Race: McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 Spyder vs Ducati 1199 Superleggera

There are three high-tech hybrid hypercars currently in production, the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari.

Autocar recently tried to get all three together for the ultimate one mile drag race, but unfortunately Ferrari did not feel like borrowing their car, so instead the chose another Italian, the Ducati 1199 Superleggera with over 200bhp, costing £64,000.

The 918 Spyder packs 875bhp and costs £853k with the optional Weissach Package. The P1 packs a combined 903bhp and costs £866,000.

Both are very impressive cars and while the Ducati has less power and is not as unique it is clearly much lighter.

The winner? Autocar points out that it is one of its closest drag races ever. Hit play to see the winner of this epic race.
