€500,000 Fiat 500C Done in Gold and Diamonds Commissioned by Chinese Businessman
How about €500,000 (£417,800) for a Fiat 500C? A wealthy Chinese businessman commissioned Italian design house Fenice Milano to build him a Fiat 500C done in gold and diamonds.
This unique Fiat 500C is called “La Dolce Vita Gold and Diamonds 200hp”. Based on the 500C Abarth it has been tuned by Romeo Ferraris with power increased from 132bhp to 200bhp, thanks to new ECU unit, boosted turbo and new sport exhaust system. To handle all the extra power, Romeo Ferraris added performance brakes and a Brembo kit with adjustable dampers to the front axle.
The exterior features 24K gold particles in the golden pearlescent white paint. Inside, the redesigned steering wheel has the outer ring made of the teak(also carpet floor was replaced with teak) and the interior one made in leather with controls in 24K gold. The console is embellished with a gold framed instrument panel and teak and 24K gold inserts dashboard.
According to Fenice Milano, the last major innovation is an Ipad Supreme Edition made in 24k gold and diamonds by English designer Stuart Hughes.
Is that really innovation or just a really stupid way of spending lot of money?
