Congratulations! Ford Builds 350 Millionth Vehicle

109 years and 350 million vehicles! Last month the 350 millionth Ford rolled off the production line at the company’s newest manufacturing facility located in Rayong, Thailand.

The lucky 350 millionth vehicle is a 2013 Ford Focus, that also happens to be the world’s best-selling car for the first six months of this year. Ford has sold 486,616 units of the new Focus in the first six months of this year.

“Producing 350 million vehicles is equivalent to producing one vehicle every 10 seconds for our 109-year history. If placed end to end, the vehicles would stretch to the moon and back – twice,” said John Fleming, Ford executive vice president of global manufacturing.
