Citroën has revealed the DS3 Cabrio Racing concept ahead of its debut at this week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The concept uses the racing tuned 1.6-litre 202bhp engine and special running gear also used on the original DS3 Racing, as well as upgraded brakes and carbon fibre kit.
The DS3 Cabrio Racing also features a bespoke Moondark matt textured grey paintwork with special gloss black 19-inch alloy wheels and Black Chrome inserts on the handles, boot trim and door mirrors.
Other updates include black canvas roof, while the brake callipers, wheel hubs, doors with wide side strips and parts of the lettering and badge are coloured in Carmin red.
Interior boasts sporty bucket seats with a DS watchstrap design and special DS pearl top-stitching in the Carmin shade on the seats, dashboard and gearshift. There’s even a child seat in three-material watchstrap design leather upholstery.
Details are limited, but the concept very likely previews an actual production model that is likely to arrive sometimes in 2014.Tags: Citroën, Citroën DS3, Citroen DS3 Cabrio, Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept
