Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake by Gallaway

The new seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been revealed both as a coupe and convertible. Both models will arrive in global markets in late 2013.

New Corvette is an amazing car. Power comes from a 444bhp 6.2-litre V8, enabling it to reach 0-62mph in under four seconds.

The Corvette like any sports car could use more luggage space.

American tuner/coach builder Callaway has a solution that looks both great and offers more interior room.

Called Callaway C21 AeroWagon, the special Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake is currently in the idea stage, but if there is enough interest it will be available to order for an additional $15k (£10k).

The car’s rear will feature a carbon fibre structure made using Callaway’s in-house Resin Transfer Molding process.

The AeroWagon does remind us the Ferrari FF, which does offer seating for four adults, while the Corvette would still stay a two seater. We really love the idea and would love to see it in production.
