Chassis testing mule for the new Jeep and Fiat baby-SUV spied

Fiat and Jeep are working on a new Baby-SUV that is based on a shorter Fiat 500L platform.

The chassis testing mule with minor differences was caught testing in Italy and in the US at the same time.

The development is still in very early stages but it looks like underneath the camouflage on one of the mules is a new Jeep grille. The mule looks quite bulky and the rear doors are much shorter than on the standard 500L.

The new small SUV by Jeep and Fiat is expected to debut in late 2015.
