Car and Driver Gets a Closer Look at the New Mercedes E63 AMG [VIDEO]

The updated Mercedes E-Class Saloon and Estate were revealed earlier this month.

The hot E63 AMG is in the final stages of development and will go on sale next summer.

In the video below, Car and Driver columnist Csaba Csere managed to get a ride in one of the E63 AMG prototypes.

He first takes a look at the camouflaged exterior and then goes for a ride with the head of AMG, Olla K√§llenius and later with Tobias Moers, AMG’s head of vehicle development.

New updated E63 AMG gets an updated 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 with 550 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque. That’s 32 extra hp compared to the outgoing model. Biggest news is the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, instead of current models rear-wheel drive configuration.
