Caparo T1 Evolution teased with 700bhp

Caparo is working on the new edition of the T1 dubbed Evolution and is already accepting orders.

The T1 Evolution will be built in very limited numbers, retaining all of the race DNA of its predecessor, while also featuring ultra-modern aerodynamic looks, improved technical specification and performance, and a range of professional race car support products and services that offer a superb track experience.

Engine details are limited, but the bespoke power train system promises 700bhp, along with an updated chassis to meet strictest safety criteria. There is also a new suspension configuration for increased stiffness and performance, ABS, traction and stability control.

Other changes include improved driver comfort, cockpit information, telemetry and communications system.

Performance specs were not released, but the standard T1 goes from 0-60mph in less than 2.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 205mph. The new T1 Evolution with 700bhp is sure to be even more faster.
