Cadillac Elmiraj concept revealed, previews a possible new flagship model

Cadillac has revealed the Elmiraj Concept, showcasing a new vision for luxury driving and the top of the brand’s expanding range.

“Cadillac is fueled by the creativity of our designers, led by Ed Welburn,” said Bob Ferguson, senior vice president, Global Cadillac. “Elmiraj provides a look inside the Cadillac Studio on how we envision performance and luxury for the next generation of luxury drivers.”

The Elmiraj is a two-door grand coupe, seating four with rear-wheel drive performance.

Exterior highlights include a massive front grille, ventilated bonnet, vertical lighting units and 22-inch alloys wheels.

The interior is a bit futuristic showing high-performance seats, camel leather upholstery, Brazilian Rosewood trim, full-length centre console and a retractable infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen display.

Main inspiration comes from the 1967 Eldorado and Ciel concept. Overall length is 5207mm and power comes from a 4.5-litre twin turbocharged V8 delivering an estimated 500bhp.
