Brabus takes the Mercedes-Maybach S600 to 900 horsepower

Brabus is well known for their wild conversions of the Mercedes S-Class to ridiculously powerful and luxurious models.

Their latest project is based on the all-new Mercedes-Maybach S600 and is called Brabus Rocket 900.

The main work has been done with the V12 engine that has its displacement increased from 6.0 to 6.3 litres along with new turbochargers that have larger compressor unit.

As a result the luxurious saloon now packs an impressive 900 horsepower and 1106 lb-ft of torque, over the standard model’s 530 hp.

As a result the new Maybach badged S-Class rockets to 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds. Top speed is more than 217mph. Very impressive performance numbers for a car that weighs 2.8 tons.

Visual changes to the exterior include modified bumpers with integrated spoiler on the front and new diffuser at the back. There are also new 21-inch wheels.

The interior boasts new leather seats, new wood and carbon-fibre inlays, as well as iBusiness infotainment system with the latest generation of Apple computer technology for global communication and entertainment with the highest picture and sound quality.
