BMW X6 M Design Edition unveiled - production will be limited to 100 units

BMW has unveiled the X6 M Design Edition that comes with a new carbon fibre front splitter, carbon fibre rear spoiler, new rear diffuser, a matte black grille and 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

The M Performance stripes you can see on the gallery below are optional.

The cockpit boasts a Black and Mugello Red leather-wrapped dashboard, two-tone Merino leather seats, Piano Black trim, Mugello Red contrast stitching and also an individually-numbered plaque.

There are no changes done to the engine, meaning power continues to come from a 555bhp twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 engine with 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque, good for a 0-62mph sprint in 4.7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

Total production run will be limited to just 100 units.
