BMW X4 concept leaked ahead of Shanghai debut

BMW X4 concept pictured have leaked to the web ahead of Shanghai Auto Show debut later this month.

Details are limited, but as you can see the X4 concept resembles the bigger X6 and is very likely based on the X3, featuring LED headlights, sporty front, a coupe like profile, sculpted bonnet and a dual exhaust system.

BMW X4 concept previews an actual production car that will be built at company’s plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina with a market launch sometimes in 2014.

Engine options are expected to carry over from the X3, meaning there will be a wide range of petrol and diesel units including the 240bhp TwinPower Turbo 2.0-litre four-cylinder and a 300bhp TwinPower Turbo 3.0-litre inline-six.
