BMW M4 Convertible spied for the first time

Earlier this week the all-new BMW M4 Coupe was caught with less camouflage. Here we have our first pictures of the M4 Convertible, which is more heavily disguised than the coupe, though there really aren’t any big surprises under all this disguise.

The only real difference will be the electrically-operated retractable hard-top roof, which has a different shape when closed compared to the coupe’s roof line.

Just as the coupe it will use an all-new twin-turbo 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine with around 450bhp.

The BMW M4 Convertible is expected to debut shortly after the BMW M4 Coupe, which will make its public debut in early 2014 at the Detroit Auto Show.
