BMW’s electric i3 ‘Megacity’ vehicle will be launched sometimes in 2013. Here we have the latest spy photos of this new electric minicar, that is currently being tested in Spain.
We can see the bonnet is open to charge the battery. The interior reveals a digital display in the instrument panel and we can also see the i3 does not have a B-pillar – instead there are short rear suicide doors.
The i3 is powered by a 167bhp electric motor driving the rear wheels, with a range up to 100 miles.
You can take a good look at the i3 city car and i8 sports car concepts at the BMW i Store in London.
