BMW i3 Concept Coupe Revealed Ahead of LA Debut

BMW has revealed the i3 concept coupe ahead of its public debut later this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The i3 Concept Coupe rides on the same wheelbase as the standard i3 and is basically a three for version of it, boasting a wider look, thanks more raked windshield, sloping rear deck, restyled doors, new side skirts, new bumpers and a new tailgate.

Interior boasts different high quality materials including leather, wool seats, eucalyptus wood trim, brushed aluminum accents and two individual rear seats.

On the dashboard you can see a digital instrument cluster and an iDrive infotainment system.

Power comes from a 170bhp electric motor with 250 Nm of torque. Range from a full charge is up to 100 miles.

There are currently no production plans, though BMW did say the concept demonstrates the potential for conceivably extending the i3 model range.
