BMW Concept 90 debuts at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

In addition to Gran Lusso Coupe, BMW also unveiled a Concept 90 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy.

2013 marks the 90th anniversary of BMW Motorrad and the 40th anniversary of the R 90 S. The R 90 S was the first production motorcycle to come with a front fairing and to celebrate this special milestone, BMW has developed a Concept 90 together with a custom bike builder Roland Sands Design, which pays homage to the organe R 90 S from the Seventies.

Looking very similar to the original model, the Concept 90 features a hand-worked aluminium, while the giant halogen lamp has been replaced with an LED unit. Overall look is sleeker and sportier, though the resemblance can be seen easily even by an untrained eye.
