BMW 2 Series Coupe teased ahead of October 25 debut

BMW has released a video teaser for the 2 Series Coupe, which will be officially revealed on October 25.

The 2 Series replaces the 1 Series Coupe and Convertible, just like BMW did with the new 4 Series.

Details are limited, but the 2 Series Coupe is rumoured to enter production already next month, with sales starting soon after.

The 2 Series range is expected to include 220d, 220i, 228i, M235i and later also a range topping M2 with around 350bhp.

Rear-wheel drive remains standard, but it is likely the all-wheel drive xDrive will be optional on some models. The 2 Series Convertible will also follow soon.

As BMW calls it the first trailer we expect to see more teasers before Friday’s debut.
