Bentley Grand Coupe digitally imagined as a new Brooklands

Bentley unveiled their Grand Convertible concept (a modern day Azure) last month as the most sophisticated open-top car ever created by Bentley.

Basically an open-top Mulsanne without the rear doors, the Grand Coupe Concept clearly looked production ready and according to Bentley Chairman and CEO, Wolfgang Dürheimer commented:
“We are eagerly awaiting the response of our customers to this car. We will ensure that this car – if it reaches the roads – will be a highly exclusive, extremely limited collector’s piece.”

Powered by a 530bhp 6.75-litre V8 engine with 811 lb-ft of torque it would be one amazing open-top luxury cruiser.

Now a talented Theophilus Chin has created a rendering of a Grand Coupe, previewing a possible modern-day Brooklands, going against the likes of Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe.

Will we see it in production? Very likely as Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer has previously said “…if we do the Azure, the Brooklands just comes automatically.
