Audi TTS Competition priced from £38,860

In August Audi announced a limited edition TTS Competition Coupe and Roadster to mark 500,000 sales milestone of the TT model, since its debut in 1998. Limited to 500 units globally, Audi has unveiled that 120 will be UK based.

The TTS Competition Coupe is priced from £38,860 and Roadster from £42,320.

Power comes from a 272bhp 2.0 TFSI engine linked to a six-speed S tronic, enabling the Coupé to hit 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds (5.5 seconds with manual transmission). The Roadster does it in 5.5 seconds (5.7 seconds with the manual).

The TTS Competition is available in Nimbus grey for Coupé models and Imola yellow for Roadsters. Other exterior highlights include a fixed rear spoiler, like on the flagship TT RS and 19-inch five-arm rotor design.

Cockpit reveals Impulse grey leather upholstery with the ‘baseball’ stitching in grey and yellow, ‘1 of 500’ plaque in the door insert and additional driver aids and entertainment extras like DVD-based satellite navigation, a Bluetooth mobile phone interface and Audi Music Interface iPod connection, a BOSE sound system upgrade, rear parking sensors, cruise control, light and rain sensors and an interior light package.
