Audi has unveiled the S3 Cabriolet ahead of its public debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
Ordering books open in April, with first UK deliveries expected in July, meaning you can still enjoy the summer with the top down.
Just like the S3 hatch and saloon, the Cabriolet uses a 296bhp 2.0-litre TFSI linked at first exclusively to six-speed S tronic transmission, with power sent to all four wheels.
0-62mph comes in 5.4 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 155mph, while the combined fuel economy is 39.8mpg with CO2 emissions of 165g/km.
Just as the standard A3 Cabrio, the top drops electronically in 18 seconds at speeds up to 31mph.
In addition to more power, the S model is distinguished with lower sports suspension by 25mm, bi-xenon headlights, a sportier bodykit, standard LED taillights, optional 19-inch alloy wheels and four exhaust tips at the rear.
Interior boasts sports seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and S3-specific dials.
Some of the optional features include adaptive cruise control, Audi side assist, Audi active lane assist, park assist with selective display and the Audi pre sense safety system.
