Audi RS7 Sportback Makes a Surprise Debut at the Detroit Auto Show [video]

Audi has unveiled the hot RS7 Sportback at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The RS7 Sportback shares its 552bhp 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 with the recently announced RS6 Avant.

Power is sent to the wheels through an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive with sport differential. The RS7 Sportback features also standard RS-specific adaptive air suspension with option of steel-sprung suspension incorporating Dynamic Ride Control.

0-62mph comes in just 3.9 seconds, top speed is electronically limited to 155mp, though can be increased on demand to 174mph or 189mph. Fuel economy is up to 28.8mpg.

Good news is that the RS7 Sportback will be available also in UK with prices starting at approximately £84,000. Order books open in June and first cars will be delivered in the latter part of 2013.
